Das "The Old Dubliner" - Irish Pub - Hamburg öffnete 1997 in der Lämmertwiete, dem Gastroherzen von Harburg (dem südlichen Stadtteil von Hamburg) die Türen für alle Freunde und Liebhaber der irischen Kultur und Freude. Schon von Beginn an war es ein Anlaufpunkt für alle, die gute Musik, das irische Leben und die Geselligkeit liebten und ein Teil davon sein wollten. Es war das zweite Irish Pub von Noel und Mercedes Redmond, dass neben dem in Lüneburg eröffnet wurde.
Hier kann jeder ein frisch gezapftes Guinness, Kilkenny, Strongbow oder Stowford Cider, Newcastle Brown Ale, Murphy's Irish Red oder sogar Heineken Pils in gemütlicher Runde genießen. Wer gerne irische und schottische Whisk(e)ys verkosten will, ist hier genau richtig.
Im November 2007 übernahmen Kirsten & Christina den Pub und führten die Traditionen weiter. Beide haben vorher auch im The Old Dubliner gearbeitet, wobei Kirsten schon seit 1999 die Leitung des Irish Pubs hatte.
Jeden Freitag & Samstag wird das gemütliche Beisammensein von Live Musikern untermalt und gefeiert.
Seit der Gründung haben wir uns zu guter Unterhaltung und der irischen Lebensfreude verschrieben.

"The Old Dubliner" - Irish Pub - Hamburg opened its doors in 1997 in Lämmertwiete, the gastronomic heart of Harburg (the southern district of Hamburg) for all friends and lovers of Irish culture and joy. From the very beginning, it was a focal point for all those who loved good music, Irish life and conviviality and wanted to be a part of it. It was the second Irish pub opened by Noel and Mercedes Redmond, next to the one in Lüneburg.

Here everyone can enjoy a freshly tapped Guinness, Kilkenny, Strongbow or Stowford Cider, Newcastle Brown Ale, Murphy's Irish Red or even Heineken Pils in a cosy atmosphere. If you like to taste Irish and Scottish whisk(e)ys, this is the place for you.

In November 2007, Kirsten & Christina took over the pub and continued the traditions. Both had previously also worked at The Old Dubliner, with Kirsten having been in charge of the Irish Pub since 1999.

Every Friday & Saturday the cosy get-together is accompanied and celebrated by live musicians.

Since the beginning we have been committed to good entertainment and the Irish joie de vivre.
